The Hyper-Realistic Art of Ivan Hoo

The Hyper-Realistic Art of Ivan Hoo

Anyone who is a fan of hyper-realistic art will probably recognise these incredible drawings by the self-taught artist Ivan Hoo. The renowned Singaporean artist works with plywood boards and a wide assortment of ink, colored pencils, and pastels to make the subjects of his masterpieces spring to life from their wooden backdrop. Take these two Starbucks cups, for instance. Can you tell which cup is real and which one is Hoo’s creation? (I can’t either). If you would like to learn more about Ivan Hoo, then take a second to follow him on Twitter.
