Last month in Orlando, Florida, a wide coalition of community members, Disney workers, students and faith leaders chose to gather at Walt Disney World to launch a campaign calling on the Disney CEO, Bob Iger to quit President Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum and to further renounce policies by the president and those appointed to his cabinet. The campaign, put together by Organize Florida, a non profit organization that among other things organizes families in low to moderate-income communities in Florida. Their campaign is called #DisneyLetHimGo, a clever play on the title of Disney’s hit song from the hit movie Frozen, Let it Go.
