Street artist Giulio Vesprini recently concluded his first piece on a flat skate park surface in Civitanova Marche, Italy. He has worked on three playgrounds before and this is the fourth. “N O C O M P L Y” is a novel technique to the upgrading of the big skaters community in the city, a piece that when viewed from above becomes a characterizing skate park place, reproducing a meeting point between culture, sports and nature.
Born in 1980 in Civitanova Marche, Italy, Giulio Vesprini is a talented artist and graphic designer who works in several media. With an austere approach, Vesprini emphasizes the idea of ‘public space’ and more specifically on spaces where graphic and wall can be joined together at any given moment: the non-private space and space that is economically unimpressive can become utility space. His artworks are usually about contact with architecture and graphic elements.
By using abstraction, he creates powerful personal moments masterfully created by means of omissions and rules, acceptance and refusal, pulling the viewer round and round in circles. His practice features some graphic tools with a minimalist approach in the world of art: these carefully planned works resound and resonate with images taken from the surreal realm of imagination.
