Alpine introduces a unique A110 made by Argentinian artist Felipe Pantone on the sidelines of the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. The continuation of a partnership with the artist that began in April.
Alpine and Felipe Pantone show the product of their second cooperation in the exclusive and distinguished setting of Monaco. This new collaboration follows the presentation of the piece "Alpine F1 x Felipe Pantone" a few weeks ago. On the first floor of the Atelier Renault dedicated to Alpine, Felipe Pantone presented his creative depiction of Formula 1 with Alpine on a 1/2 scale model.
The Alpine and Felipe Pantone relationship is going a further step forward today with a project on the Alpine A110, the brand's iconic model. Felipe Pantone spent several hours researching the brand, its history, and, of course, driving an Alpine A110 to get a sense of the French sports coupe's distinct personality. The result is a contemporary, energetic, and elegant take on the A110. Even when the automobile is stationary, the graphic lines follow the form of the A110 and create the feeling of speed. It also includes Felipe Pantone's characteristic colors, black and white.
The artist worked for several weeks on the body paint job, which he did totally by hand. To add to the exclusivity, each of the three A110 models for sale will have tiny visual changes, making each one a one-of-a-kind artwork.
“My idea regarding the work on the A110 is to evoke a sense of “ultradynamism”. Visual speed is something that I have been investigating for years now and that I feel it really comes together on this car, emphasizing it’s brilliant design with a fast, technological look” – Felipe Pantone
