After an extensive career in event planning, I decided it was necessary to live creatively. So, in my early 40's, I left the corporate world and moved to New York City to immerse myself in the craft of fashion illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
My love for fashion art had begun in middle school, when I was consumed with illustrations featured in my mother’s Women’s Wear Daily magazines. These images were newspaper sized and they covered every wall in my room.
After absorbing a year at F.I.T, I returned to Atlanta. I now operate out of my home studio creating with watercolor, ink, oil, graphite, acetate, mylar, canvas, paper and Photoshop.
I’m primarily a commission based artist concentrating on home renderings, pet portraits, flower paintings, fashion and accessory illustrations. The majority of my business comes from referrals, and I’m oftentimes hired multiple times by my clients.
