I’m Irene Pérez, an illustrator based in Barcelona.
I started to develop my artistic personality by studying Fine Arts and Graphic Design. When I finished my studies the passion to discover other cultures made me move into different countries. I try to reflect these experiences in my work finding inspiration in folk tales and rituals, mostly from Latin American and Asian cultures.
I also feel a strong attraction to esoteric symbolism and magic. Myths, rituals, animals, plants, insects, flowers, magic environments, earth, literature, cinema or music are frequent key elements in my work.
I'm always happy to hear about new projects! so please get in touch!

I have worked in the graphic image for Rueda (Valencia International Cycling Film Festival). I designed the poster, MUPIs, rollups, brochure, merchandising, etc. It was really exciting to see all the different materials in context, surrounded by performances, concerts and all kinds of cultural activities.

I worked on this book cover for Comanegra Editions (Barcelona, Spain) and finally it is available at bookstores. The book is a collection of stories featuring fourteen free women from all periods and situations. I really enjoy these kinds of projects, I love the challenge of communicating the content in a single and powerful image.

This is the ‘Raspberry Gin Label’ I designed for Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers (Australia’s first barrel room and cellar door). The gin has a beautiful pink color itself so I’ve played with the green to make a good contrast between bottle and label. The label is in production right now but soon I will show you the complete bottle on my Instagram account. See you there!
